Error 691 is caused by a login and/or password validation failure. It can also be caused if there is an active VyprVPN connection and a new connection is attempted.
Solutions:
- Log out of the application and log back in.
- If you are using a manual connection, verify the login and password are correctly typed and with correct capitalization.
- Your account has a limit to how many active connections to VyprVPN you can have at the same time, so please ensure that you do not have too many active VPN connections on other devices. Log in to the customer control panel and select the "Dashboard" tab to view your current VyprVPN connections and to check that your account is active.
