As VyprVPN is a no logs VPN, you will need to agree to log locally on your device by enabling the logs option under the Contact Support section of the Support tab within the VyprVPN app options. Next, you will need to explicitly agree to send your application and log files to Support for troubleshooting purposes by following the instructions for your operating system below:
Windows
- Tap/click the Menu (Three Horizontal Lines) icon in the upper left corner.
- Tap/click Support
- Tap/click Contact Support
- Type a description of the issue you are experiencing
- Make sure the Include connection log box is checked
- Tap/click Send to Support
Mac
- Tap/click the Menu (Three Horizontal Lines) icon in the upper left corner.
- Tap/click Support
- Tap/click Contact Support
- Type a description of the issue you are experiencing
- Make sure the Include connection log box is checked
- Tap/click Send to Support
Android
- Tap/click the Menu (Three Horizontal Lines) icon in the upper left corner.
- Tap/click Support
- Tap/click Contact Support
- Type a description of the issue you are experiencing
- Make sure the Include connection log box is checked
- Tap/click Send to Support
Android TV
- Tap/click the Settings icon
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap/click Help
- Tap/click Contact Support
- Type a description of the issue you are experiencing
- Make sure the Attach connection log and Attach application log boxes are checked
- Tap/click Contact Support
iOS
- Tap/click the Menu (Three Horizontal Lines) icon in the upper left corner.
- Tap/click Support
- Tap/click Contact Support
- Type a description of the issue you are experiencing
- Make sure the Include connection log box is checked
- Tap/click Send to Support
Router App
- Under VyprVPN on the left-hand side, click Support
- Enter your Name and Email
- Type a description of the issue you are experiencing
- Make sure the Include connection log box is checked
- Click Send
Linux CLI
- Replicate the issue you are experiencing.
- Run the following command in Terminal -
tail -n 500 /var/log/syslog > vyprvpn.txt
- The output will be in vyprvpn.txt in the home directory.
- If you are already working with support, simply attach the log in your reply email. Otherwise, send an email to support@giganews.com with the logs attached, as well as a description of the issue.
