How do I request that a newsgroup be added to Giganews?

Verify that we do not already carry the group that you are looking for:

• Search for the group on our Usenet Newsgroups Search page. If it isn't found, then we don't carry it.

If your updated group list still shows that we do not carry the group you want...

• Send an email to support@giganews.com
• Include in that email: Your Giganews account number/user name
• Include in that email: The full name of the newsgroup that you would like us to add for you

If your requested group can be found in ISC's control directory (ftp://ftp.isc.org/usenet/control) -or- the directory of one of our news feed partners -or- you have included in your email request the full headers from at least one article found in the newsgroup, we will usually be able to add your requested group to our ranks.

You may also submit your request by providing the same information to us through, giganews.newsgroups

We typically add new groups to our servers once a week.
